Well since it is summer, I have not done much to the house. As fall approaches, More work will be done.

Ideas for the yard

Well, I wanted to add a little something to this blog, I saw a very nice fire place, I will like to add to the yard. what do you think??

Outdoor furniture comes at the end of the summer after the prices go down.

Some thoughts

A few things I have learned about owning my home with my husband. We have been married a year. In the previous years I will just paint, or add a picture or change a room without asking him what he thought. Well I want to paint a few rooms; As of now he wants to keep the builder paint a while. The old me would just paint, But he did make a point that we have an inspection at our 1 year mark. The house is settling we have a few "settling cracks" If I paint, they will do a touch up over my new paint job, and I will have to re paint in December. So I am going to wait.


I am going to get a list of some stuff I would like to tackle in the house.

I want glass/mosaic back splash, But I will like to add something timeless. I might go with subway tiles.
Back yard furniture, DH is stalling on this, But I am going to wait till the end of the summer and buy some. It will be cheaper.

short term stuff,
I need something to go over this sofa ,it is 96 inch long.

I would add some more pics but there is nothing really to add, since I last added pic's. Now the back yard grass is coming in well. Nice and green.

Hi oh

It a long weekend of work.....

Well this weekend we are tackling the garage, Adding shelves, So far we have a 12 foot work bench and two 6 feet for storage. We plan to add two more 12 foot shelves for extra storage. We have the desktop already in on a desk, Two office chairs A tv 40 inch will come later.

After I get every thing off the floor, I plan to put a very large indoor/out door carpet in the center.


Our goal is to create extra living space, Since it is a one car, Extra living space just make more sense.

I have lost my thingy for my memory card, As soon as I fine it I will post the pics I have.

We decided to go with the red mulch in the front yard, We also put a border along the bed. The front yard is green now. The back is still brown but I see some green peaking in.

Sodis going in today

They guy is putting the sod in now as I type this. I am going to have a REAL back yard!!! with grass!!
